Noun.  A main course of a meal, made of a mixture of ground meat (beef, pork, veal, etc., or a combination thereof) bread (breadcrumbs, cracker crumbs) with seasonings and vegetables such as onion, formed into a loaf or fitted into a loaf pan and baked, then served in slices.
