SSTH

Noun.  (nautical) (acronym of, super slender twin hull) This describes a catamaran with very slender hulls which are designed to reduce wake wash and increase passenger comfort. These boats are generally intended to be fast moving ferries, both ocean-going and operating close to shore. However these boats are still considered somewhat experimental.
