Phunababa

Noun.  (context, folklore) A mythical variety of fairy described in Ataro Yoshimura's ''Facing the Dawn''. The Phunababa are, loosely, "fairies of the sumo ring," who protect sumo wrestlers from harm and offer aid in keeping the wrestler's mawashi clean.
