Proper noun.  A dialect or group of dialects of Serbo-Croatian spoken primarily in Serbia and distinguished by reflecting the Common Slavic jat (Old Cyrillic: (Cyrs, ѣ) , Glagolitic: (Glag, ) , Latin transcription /ě/) sound as /e/.
