Asman

Proper noun.  (Zoroastrianism) Avestan and Middle Persian name of the Zoroastrian divinity that is the hypostasis of the sky. Asman is the "highest heaven," and is distinguished from the firmament (''thwasha''), which lies nearer the earth.
