Aromanian

  1. Noun.  a member of the people living throughout the southern Balkans, especially in northern Greece, Albania, Serbia, the Republic of Macedonia and Bulgaria; they are a subgroup of Vlachs.
  2. Proper noun.  An endangered Eastern Romance language spoken mainly in Greece, but also in Albania, Bulgaria, Macedonia, and Romania, and relatively intelligible with Romanian and Megleno-Romanian.
